Law Through Art: Moroccan University ⁤Launches Innovative Program to Demystify Legal Concepts

Larache, Morocco – In a groundbreaking initiative to make legal knowledge more accessible, the Multidisciplinary Faculty⁣ of Larache hosted the launch of the “Law Through Art” program on July 26th, 2024. This innovative⁣ program, spearheaded by the ⁤Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation in partnership with the Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication, aims to revolutionize the way law is taught and understood.

This marks the third edition of the‌ “Law Through Art” campaign, a key component of Morocco’s ambitious PACTE ESRI ‍2030 plan. This national⁣ strategy seeks to transform the country’s higher education, scientific research, and innovation landscape by 2030. The program is guided by renowned⁤ Moroccan artist Nawal Essagat⁤ and reflects a broader vision for a more⁣ engaged, creative, and innovative university system.

Rather than relying​ solely on​ traditional pedagogical approaches, “Law Through Art” leverages the power of⁢ artistic expression to demystify complex legal concepts and ⁤procedures. By integrating various art forms into the learning process, the program aims ​to foster‌ a deeper understanding of the law and its impact on everyday life.

This immersive approach to legal education aligns⁢ with the growing global trend of incorporating arts-based pedagogy in higher education. The launch event was attended by key ‍figures from Morocco’s legal and academic communities, including the Vice President for Academic Affairs of Abdelmalek Essaadi University, the Dean of the Multidisciplinary Faculty of Larache, the Dean of the Faculty of Legal, Economic and Social Sciences in Tetouan, and the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology⁢ in Al Hoceima. ​The event also ⁢saw the participation of prominent legal professionals, including professors, judges, lawyers, and members of the “Law Through Art” club.
