Casablanca Embraces Global Running Stars as Marathon Shuts Down City

Anticipation is high for the event, with organizers announcing a star-studded lineup of international athletes. Kenyan running sensation Emmanuel Naibei, Eritrean champion Nguse Amlosom, and Ethiopian running star Gadisa Tajebe are just a few of the big names set to compete. Morocco’s own running elite, including Hamza Sahli, Omar Ait Chitachen, Kaoutar Boulaid, and Hanane Qallouj, will also be vying for top honors, adding a layer of national pride to the electrifying atmosphere.
To ensure a smooth and safe race for both participants and spectators, the Casablanca City Council has announced the closure of all roads along the marathon route.
