The day will begin with dense low clouds blanketing much of the country. Residents of the Atlantic plains, the Rif region, Saiss, the phosphate and Meseta plateaus, the Atlas Mountains, and the northwestern parts of the southern regions can expect very light rain or drizzle.
As the day progresses into the evening, these dense clouds are expected to move towards Tangier, Loukkos, the Rif, the western Mediterranean coast, and the plains north of El Jadida, bringing scattered showers to these areas.
Warm Temperatures and Strong Winds:
While some areas experience a cool drizzle, the far southeast and south of Morocco will see warmer temperatures. Strong winds are also anticipated in the northern plains, the Rif, the Atlas Mountains, the eastern region, and the western Mediterranean coast.
Temperature Variations Across Morocco:
Coolest Regions: The High and Middle Atlas Mountains, along with the southern regions, will experience the coolest temperatures, ranging between 10-16 degrees Celsius.
Warmest Regions: The southeast will be the warmest part of the country, with temperatures reaching between 18-24 degrees Celsius.
Moderate Temperatures: The rest of Morocco will see moderate temperatures, ranging from 16-21 degrees Celsius.
Coastal Waters:
The seas are expected to be generally calm, with some choppy conditions in specific areas:
Slightly rough to rough: The Mediterranean coast, the Strait of Gibraltar, and the area between Cap Spartel and Sidi Ifni.
Slightly rough: The waters between Tarfaya and Dakhla.
Slightly rough to rough: The remaining coastal areas.
