Morocco‌ Braces for‍ a Mixed ⁢Bag of Weather: Rain, Thunderstorms, and Snow Predicted

The⁣ General ‌Directorate of ‌Meteorology predicts a Tuesday full of meteorological‌ variety, with rain, thunderstorms, and even snow gracing different parts of the country.

The ​Atlas Mountains, both High and Middle, along with their western ⁢slopes, are expected to experience​ showers and thunderstorms. This active weather pattern will also extend to the ⁣southeastern slopes, impacting regions like ‍Chaouia, Doukkala, Abda, Chiadma, ‍Rehamna, and the ‌Phosphates and ⁢Oum Er-Rbia⁤ plateaus. Further north, the Tangier,⁤ Loukkos, Gharb, and‌ West Rif regions can also‍ anticipate some rumbles of ⁢thunder and refreshing rain.

While some areas enjoy a good soaking, others will⁢ see lighter precipitation. The southeast,⁢ Saiss, eastern regions, ‍and‍ the ‍eastern Rif can‌ expect scattered, weak rainfall. Meanwhile, ⁢the majestic peaks of the High Atlas Mountains will receive a dusting of snow, painting ‌a picturesque scene.

Wind enthusiasts take note! The southeast, along ‍with the ​northern‌ and central plains, will experience moderately⁣ strong​ wind gusts.

Temperatures will‍ also vary across the country. The High‍ Atlas ‍Mountains, the Rif, and the‌ eastern High Plateaus will experience cooler temperatures, ranging from 7 ​to 13 degrees Celsius. Coastal ​areas and ​the eastern parts of the southern ⁤regions will enjoy milder temperatures between 17 ⁤and 23 degrees⁤ Celsius. The rest of Morocco will‌ fall somewhere in ⁢between, with temperatures hovering between 13 and 17 degrees ⁤Celsius.

As the day progresses, the Souss region and the southern parts of the country will see​ a rise in temperature, while other areas‌ experience a ‍slight dip.

And what about ⁣the sea? The Mediterranean facade can expect⁤ calm⁢ to slightly choppy waters, while the Strait will be slightly choppy. The Atlantic coast will see slightly choppy to rough ​seas.
