The General Directorate of Meteorology predicts a Tuesday full of meteorological variety, with rain, thunderstorms, and even snow gracing different parts of the country.
The Atlas Mountains, both High and Middle, along with their western slopes, are expected to experience showers and thunderstorms. This active weather pattern will also extend to the southeastern slopes, impacting regions like Chaouia, Doukkala, Abda, Chiadma, Rehamna, and the Phosphates and Oum Er-Rbia plateaus. Further north, the Tangier, Loukkos, Gharb, and West Rif regions can also anticipate some rumbles of thunder and refreshing rain.
While some areas enjoy a good soaking, others will see lighter precipitation. The southeast, Saiss, eastern regions, and the eastern Rif can expect scattered, weak rainfall. Meanwhile, the majestic peaks of the High Atlas Mountains will receive a dusting of snow, painting a picturesque scene.
Wind enthusiasts take note! The southeast, along with the northern and central plains, will experience moderately strong wind gusts.
Temperatures will also vary across the country. The High Atlas Mountains, the Rif, and the eastern High Plateaus will experience cooler temperatures, ranging from 7 to 13 degrees Celsius. Coastal areas and the eastern parts of the southern regions will enjoy milder temperatures between 17 and 23 degrees Celsius. The rest of Morocco will fall somewhere in between, with temperatures hovering between 13 and 17 degrees Celsius.
As the day progresses, the Souss region and the southern parts of the country will see a rise in temperature, while other areas experience a slight dip.
And what about the sea? The Mediterranean facade can expect calm to slightly choppy waters, while the Strait will be slightly choppy. The Atlantic coast will see slightly choppy to rough seas.
