Morocco Weather Forecast: Sunny Skies and Warm Temperatures Expected

From the northern and central plains to the Atlas Mountains and the southern regions, sunshine will be the dominant theme.
While much of Morocco basks in the warmth, some areas can expect a touch of atmospheric variety. The High Atlas Mountains and eastern slopes might see the development of cumulus clouds, potentially bringing scattered showers. Meanwhile, along the Mediterranean coast and northern Rif region, expect some low-lying, fairly dense clouds to roll in. Early risers and night owls in the northern Atlas plains, Mediterranean coast, and northern eastern region should be prepared for some fog or misty conditions. This atmospheric phenomenon, common in coastal areas, occurs when warm, moist air encounters cooler surfaces.
Further south, and west of the Anti-Atlas Mountains, moderate to relatively strong winds are anticipated, potentially accompanied by localized dust dispersal. These winds, often driven by pressure differences, can contribute to hazy conditions in affected areas. eastern high plateaus, and southeastern slopes will range from a chilly 5°C to 11°C (41°F – 52°F).
Coastal and Southern Areas: Milder overnight temperatures are expected in the Souss region, Saharan provinces, and near coastal areas, ranging from 16°C to 22°C (61°F – 72°F).
* Elsewhere: The rest of the country will experience overnight lows between 11°C and 17°C (52°F – 63°F).
Daytime temperatures are expected to rise noticeably in the northern Atlas plains. This warming trend is consistent with seasonal variations and the influence of prevailing weather systems.
Coastal Conditions:
The Mediterranean Sea is forecast to be calm to slightly choppy. However, the Strait of Gibraltar and along the Atlantic coast, conditions will be a bit more turbulent, ranging from slightly choppy to rough.
