Morocco Weather Forecast for Tuesday
Morocco Braces for Varied Weather on Tuesday
Get ready for a mixed bag of weather across Morocco this Tuesday, as the Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM) forecasts a dynamic day of sunshine, clouds, and potential showers.
The Rif region, known for its lush landscapes, should expect scattered clouds with a chance of localized rain showers or even thunderstorms. This unsettled weather pattern will also extend to the heights of the Middle Atlas Mountains and surrounding areas, as well as the eastern High Plateaus.
Meanwhile, down south in the Saharan provinces, residents should prepare for the arrival of tropical clouds sweeping in from the south. These clouds are expected to bring scattered showers and rumbles of thunder, particularly in the southern regions.
Morning and evening hours will see a blanket of fog settling over the northern and central coastlines, including Saiss, the Phosphate Plateaus, and the plains west of the High Atlas Mountains.
Low-lying clouds will also make an appearance along the northern and central coasts and plains, as well as the northwestern parts of the southern provinces, during the morning and night. Be prepared for moderately strong winds, potentially accompanied by dust in the southeastern regions.
Temperature-wise, expect a diverse range across the country:
Mild Coastal Regions: Saiss, the western regions, Loukkos, the southeast, and the eastern parts of the southern provinces will experience lows between 20-23°C (68-73°F).
Warm Southern Deserts: The southern Saharan provinces will enjoy warmer temperatures, with lows ranging from 24-28°C (75-82°F).
Cool Mountain Air: The High and Middle Atlas Mountains will be significantly cooler, with lows between 4-9°C (39-48°F).
Moderate Inland Temperatures: The Rif, Anti-Atlas Mountains, and eastern High Plateaus will see lows between 9-14°C (48-57°F).
Pleasant Transition Zones: The rest of Morocco can expect comfortable lows between 15-19°C (59-66°F).
Daytime temperatures are expected to be lower than usual across the board.
