Morocco’s High Judicial Council Announces New Judicial Appointments

These appointments, impacting key positions within Morocco’s court system, reflect the council’s commitment to upholding the highest standards of justice and ensuring its effective delivery across the nation.
Among the notable changes is the transfer of Abdelmouati El Qaddouri, previously the President of the Administrative Court of Appeal in Marrakech. El Qaddouri will now assume the same role in Agadir, bringing his extensive experience to a new jurisdiction.
The Marrakech Administrative Court of Appeal will now be led by Abdessalam Nanani, formerly an advisor to the Court of Cassation. This appointment highlights the council’s focus on leveraging the expertise of seasoned legal professionals to lead crucial judicial bodies.
In another significant move, Mohamed El Karaoui, also previously an advisor to the Court of Cassation, has been appointed as the new President of the Commercial Court of Appeal in Agadir.
