Palestinian Prime Minister Expresses Gratitude to King Mohammed VI for Unwavering Support
Ramallah, Palestine – In a heartfelt display of appreciation, Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh extended his gratitude to the Kingdom of Morocco and King Mohammed VI for their steadfast commitment to the Palestinian cause. This message of thanks was delivered during a meeting with Ismail Al-Ramli, the coordinator of programs and projects for the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency in Jerusalem.
The Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency, operating under the direct supervision of King Mohammed VI, who also chairs the Al-Quds Committee, has been a lifeline for Palestinians in Jerusalem. For over 25 years, the agency has provided vital support in crucial sectors like education, healthcare, culture, and social assistance. Their work focuses on empowering youth, women, and children, recognizing their vulnerability and importance in the community.
Prime Minister Shtayyeh emphasized the agency’s critical role in Jerusalem, pledging his full support for their endeavors. He acknowledged the challenging circumstances currently faced by the Palestinian people and called for increased Arab and international efforts to provide much-needed support.
This call for solidarity echoes the sentiments of many international actors. The United Nations, for example, continues to advocate for a two-state solution, recognizing the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination. The international community plays a crucial role in facilitating dialogue and providing humanitarian aid to alleviate the hardships faced by Palestinians.
The meeting served as a powerful reminder of the importance of international collaboration and unwavering support in the pursuit of peace and justice for the Palestinian people.
