Scattered Thunderstorms Expected Across the Kingdom Today

Scattered Showers and Strong Winds Expected Across Morocco This Sunday
The Moroccan Directorate General of Meteorology has issued a weather forecast for Sunday, predicting scattered showers and thunderstorms across various regions of the country.
The Atlas Mountains and surrounding western areas can expect rain and localized thunderstorms. This unsettled weather pattern will also extend to the southeastern regions, including Souss, as well as the northern and central plains. The phosphate and Oulad Abdoun plateaus, the western Mediterranean facade, the Rehamna region, and the northern parts of the country’s Saharan provinces will also experience some rainfall.
In addition to the rain, strong wind gusts are anticipated in the eastern region, the Middle Atlas, and the southeast.
This type of weather pattern is relatively common in Morocco during this time of year. The country’s diverse geography, ranging from coastal plains to towering mountains, contributes to a wide range of weather conditions.
For those planning outdoor activities this Sunday, it’s advisable to check the latest weather updates and be prepared for shifting conditions. Bringing an umbrella and dressing in layers would be a good idea.
