Morocco Weather Forecast for Sunday

Morocco Braces for Warm Sunday with Varied Conditions Across the Country
The Moroccan Directorate General of Meteorology (DMN) has released its weather forecast for Sunday, predicting a mix of warm temperatures and varied conditions across the country.
Sun-seekers can expect relatively warm weather in the inland plains and southern regions. However, those residing near the Atlantic coast should be prepared for low clouds, mist, and fog during the morning and night. The rest of Morocco can anticipate clear to partly cloudy skies, with some scattered sand expected in the southern provinces.
Moderate to strong winds are also on the horizon, particularly along the central and southern coasts.
A Look at the Temperatures
Temperatures will vary significantly across Morocco. The High Atlas and Middle Atlas Mountains will experience the coolest temperatures, with lows ranging from 3 to 9 degrees Celsius (37 to 48 degrees Fahrenheit). Coastal areas like the Rif, phosphate and Meseta plateaus, and the eastern High Plateaus will see lows between 8 and 14 degrees Celsius (46 to 57 degrees Fahrenheit).
Meanwhile, the eastern and southern Sahara regions will experience the warmest lows, ranging from 20 to 25 degrees Celsius (68 to 77 degrees Fahrenheit). The remaining regions can expect lows between 12 and 19 degrees Celsius (54 to 66 degrees Fahrenheit). The DMN predicts a rise in temperatures as the day progresses.
Coastal Waters
Sea conditions will also vary. The Mediterranean coast will experience calm waters, while the waters off Boujdour will be calm to slightly choppy. Those venturing out to sea between Larache and Tarfaya should be prepared for rough to very rough conditions. The remaining coastal areas can expect slightly choppy to rough seas.
