Moroccan Parliamentarian’s Embezzlement⁤ Trial Postponed

Rabat, Morocco ⁢-‌ The trial of Moroccan parliamentarian‌ Mohamed Simo,⁣ president ⁤of the Al Qsar Al Kabir commune, has been postponed until October 7th, 2024. Simo, along with⁢ twelve other defendants, faces⁣ charges of embezzlement and misuse of public ⁣funds.

The first ⁣hearing for case​ 05/2024 took place on Thursday morning at the Rabat Court of Appeal. All defendants were ⁤present with their legal counsel. However, ⁣the judge granted a postponement ‌at the request of⁣ several defense ⁣attorneys who requested additional time to prepare their cases.
