Tourism Minister to Present Summer Season Report

The government will⁣ be presented with a ‍comprehensive report on the performance of⁢ the summer tourism season. This ⁣highly ‍anticipated report, delivered by the Minister of‍ Tourism, Handicrafts, and Social and Solidarity Economy, ‌will likely‍ offer insights into key ⁤indicators‍ such as ⁤visitor numbers, revenue generated, and​ the overall impact on the Moroccan economy. This⁢ update aims ‍to align building codes with the latest‌ advancements in seismic engineering and enhance the safety of structures ​in earthquake-prone​ regions.

Complementing‌ this, Draft Decree No. 2.24.767 seeks to⁤ amend Decree No. 2.12.666, which focuses on earthquake-resistant construction techniques for buildings made of clay. ⁤This decree underscores the government’s commitment to preserving traditional building⁣ methods while ensuring their‍ resilience ⁢against seismic activity.
