Foggy Beginnings: Early risers in the northern and central plains should be prepared for foggy conditions in the morning, which might linger into the night.
A Touch of Rain: Coastal areas and the northern plains will wake up to low-hanging, dense clouds. Don’t be surprised if you encounter some light rain showers locally.
Cloudy with a Chance of Showers: The Atlas Mountains and their eastern slopes will experience intermittent cloud cover throughout the afternoon. Be prepared for the possibility of scattered rain showers, potentially accompanied by some rumbles of thunder.
Windy Down South: Those in the southern regions of Morocco should brace themselves for strong gusts of wind throughout the day.
Temperature Swings: Temperatures will vary significantly across the country. The desert regions will experience lows between 20-25°C (68-77°F), while the Atlas Mountains will dip down to a chilly 8-12°C (46-54°F). The rest of Morocco can expect a moderate range of 14-20°C (57-68°F). Daytime temperatures are expected to drop slightly in the plains along the Atlantic coast, while the rest of the country will see a rise.
Calm Seas: The sea is expected to be calm to slightly choppy in the Mediterranean and the Strait of Gibraltar. Expect slightly choppy to rough conditions between Tarfaya and Laayoune, while the remaining coastal areas will experience calm to slightly choppy waters.
