Light Rain and Strong Winds Expected Across Morocco

Morocco Braces for a Windy Day with a Chance of Showers in the South

Get ready for a breezy Saturday across⁢ Morocco! While ⁤most of the country enjoys a relatively warm day, the south might see a sprinkle‍ of rain and a rumble of thunder.

The General Directorate of Meteorology predicts scattered showers and thunderstorms for the southernmost regions of Morocco. ‍Meanwhile, those along the central coast, northwest ‍of the southern regions, and the western Mediterranean coast might experience a light drizzle.

The Atlas Mountains, both High and Middle, ⁣can expect the development of cumulus clouds, potentially leading to localized showers. Fog patches might develop in the Atlantic plains, while the far south experiences slightly warmer temperatures.

Wind will be a major player throughout the day. ⁢ Local gusts of wind carrying⁢ sand are expected in the south. Stronger wind gusts are anticipated in Tangier, the southern regions, the Mediterranean ⁤coast, and the central Atlantic plains.
