Heatwave Continues: Temperatures Soar in [Specific Regions of Morocco]
Morocco Braces for Soaring Temperatures and Strong Winds
Morocco is set to experience a mix of weather conditions, with sunny skies across most of the country but soaring temperatures in certain regions. The central and southern coasts will also be met with strong winds, prompting caution for residents and travelers alike.
Temperatures will vary significantly across the country. The plains of Moulouya, the southeastern regions, the Chiadma, and the eastern parts of the Sahara Desert can expect lows between 25-30 degrees Celsius (77-86 degrees Fahrenheit). Meanwhile, the mountainous areas will experience much cooler temperatures, dipping down to 10-15 degrees Celsius (50-59 degrees Fahrenheit). The rest of the country will see milder lows between 17-24 degrees Celsius (63-75 degrees Fahrenheit).
While the south-eastern and southernmost regions brace for a surge in high temperatures, the rest of Morocco will experience a slight dip. This fluctuation in temperatures highlights the diverse microclimates present within the country.
As for the coastal regions, the Mediterranean coast and the Strait of Gibraltar will see calm to slightly choppy waters. The sea off the coast north of Mehdia will be slightly choppy to choppy, while the waters between Cap Hadid, Tan-Tan, and south of Boujdour will be rough, with the potential for strong swells.
