Changeable Weather Expected Wednesday in These Regions of Morocco

Morocco Braces for a Wednesday of Varied Weather
Get ready for a mixed bag of weather this Wednesday across Morocco, as the General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts a day of sunshine, showers, and even a chance of thunderstorms in some areas.
The northern regions, including Tangier, Loukkos, Gharb, Rif, and the Grand Atlas Mountains and their eastern slopes, can expect periods of rain or showers, with the possibility of thunderstorms adding some drama to the day. The plains of Tadla, Rehamna, Abda, Chiadma, and Souss will also experience similar conditions.
Meanwhile, those in Saiss, the southeastern regions, the south of the eastern region, and the Middle Atlas Mountains might see some light and scattered showers. A sprinkle of rain could also grace the high plateaus of the eastern region, the Anti-Atlas Mountains, and their neighboring western plains.
Down south, clouds drifting in from the south might bring a few raindrops and the occasional rumble of thunder to the southernmost parts of the country. Along the northern coasts and the western Rif, be prepared for somewhat strong winds.
Temperature Swings Across the Nation
Temperatures will vary significantly across Morocco. Expect a chilly start in the High and Middle Atlas Mountains, with lows between 5-10°C (41-50°F). The Anti-Atlas Mountains, Rif, southeastern regions, phosphate plateaus, and eastern high plateaus will see slightly milder temperatures, ranging from 11-15°C (52-59°F). Coastal areas and the eastern Sahara regions will enjoy the warmest temperatures, with lows between 17-20°C (63-68°F). The rest of the country will experience moderate temperatures between 14-17°C (57-63°F).
While daytime temperatures are expected to drop in the central plains, most other areas will experience a rise in temperature.
Sea Conditions
The Mediterranean coast will see calm to slightly choppy waters. The Strait of Gibraltar and the area south of Cape Ghir will experience slightly choppy to rough seas, while north of Cape Ghir, the sea will be rough to very rough.
